In response to many requests from our audience, we have decided to hold a concert that is open to children from 4 years old and can be enjoyed by those who are hearing the Ninth Symphony for the first time.

In the first half of the concert, you will be able to see "The Story of the Ninth Symphony," which is told through illustrations and a story. While looking at illustrations drawn by animation artist and illustrator Saki Iyori, you will follow the story of how Beethoven came to compose the immortal masterpiece "The Ninth Symphony." The story was written by conductor and columnist Tomohiro Okada, who is also familiar from New Japan Philharmonic 's note.
The narrator will be Yoko Doi, who is also popular as the host of Zoorasian Brass' "Musical Picture Book" concert and the singing sister at the "Shima Jiro Concert."
We will guide you through the highlights of the Ninth Symphony in an easy-to-understand and enjoyable manner, without using any difficult musical terminology.

After the break, the second half will feature a powerful rendition of the Ninth Symphony under the baton of Music Director Yutaka Sado.
