Born in 1972. Graduated from Kanazawa University and Tokyo University of the Arts. In Prague, Czech Republic, he studied under Mr. Isi Hudets, Chief contrabass player of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. After returning to Japan, he has been the New Japan Philharmonic Chief contrabass player since 2006.
In addition to the orchestra, he is active in many fields such as solo and chamber music. Also, as a leader, he puts a lot of effort into teaching the next generation. So far, he has studied the double bass under Hisagi Matsunaka, Yoshio Nagashima, Zoldt Tibay, and Jisie Hudetz.
