Born in Chiba prefecture. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts music department, moved to Germany. After graduating from Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin, he received a scholarship from the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra and studied at the same orchestra academy. He studied under Shu Yoshida, Yoshio Nagashima, Esco Laine, Matthias Weber, and Slavomir Glenda.
Joined in 2011. Currently New Japan Philharmonic Contrabass Vorspieler.
