I'm Ryotaro Harada from the contrabass. My hobbies are going around culverts, collecting old maps, and playing with topographic maps. Recently, I often drink shochu because I drank beer for a lifetime while studying abroad. See you at the venue!

Born in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Started contrabass at the age of 12. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, Department of Instrumental Music, and Graduate School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. After graduating from graduate school, he traveled to Germany to study at the Würzburg University of Music. While in school, he participated in performances and recordings held in various parts of Germany as a trainee of the Cologne Gürzenich Orchestra.

As a soloist, she has performed with the Würzburg Hochschule Orchestra conducted by Robert HP Platz, the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa conducted Michiyoshi Inoue, and the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra conducted by Norichika Iimori. Studied double bass under Katsuki Yoshiura, Yoshio Nagashima and Mitsunori Bunya. He also studied chamber music with Michio Kobayashi and Wolfgang Nusslein.
Joined in 2021. New Japan Philharmonic contrabass player.
