profile

Started playing bassoon at the age of 13 under Koji Okazaki. Graduated from the High School of Music attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. Appeared in morning concerts and chamber music regulars for three consecutive years while in school.
Co-starred with the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra at the new graduates introduction concert. Traveled to Germany as a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship student. Studied at music universities in Hannover and Munich. Completed the Meister Course (Graduate School) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. Worked as a research student at the Münchner Symphoniker while in school.

After working as the Chief player at the Augsburg Opera House, after returning to Japan, he appeared in the NHK-FM recital. In 2009, he performed as a soloist at the New Japan Philharmonic 's "New Japan Philharmonic Special Concert" conducted by Seiji Ozawa.
Toshiyuki Kamioka, G.Bosse, PvSteinaecker/Conductor, New Japan Philharmonic Subscription Concert, Masterpiece Series, G.Bosse/Conductor, Kobe City Chamber Orchestra Subscription Concert Soloist. He has been a soloist in Korean Chamber Orchsetra's "Special Gala Concert" and Changwon Philhaemonic Orchestra's regular concerts.

現在新日本フィル 首席ファゴット奏者としての活動を中心に、木曽福島音楽祭などにも参加。東京藝術大学音楽学部非常勤講師、日本大学芸術学部非常勤講師。
ファゴットを岡崎耕治、E.Marschall、K.Thunemann、故伊達博各氏に師事。
