Born in Kyoto Prefecture. Switched to viola at the age of 21. After studying at Toho Gakuen Women's High School Music Department and the same university, she completed the master course at the Hanns Eisler College of Music Berlin.

As a viola player of the Quartet Amabile, he won the 3rd prize in the string quartet category at the 65th ARD Munich International Music Competition, and also received the special award for the commissioned new work. Won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions held in New York in 2019, and won many other prizes. Received the 22nd Hotel Okura Music Award.

Appeared on TV Asahi "Untitled Concert", NHK-FM "Recital Passio", Viola Space, Tokyo Spring Music Festival, Miyazaki International Music Festival, Kirishima International Music Festival, and many others. Co-starred with Nobuko Imai, Martha Argerich, and Dang Thai Son. CHANEL Pygmalion Days chamber music artist. Music Dialogue artist.

So far, he has studied violin under Ryoji Kubo, viola under Ryo Sasaki and Walter Küssner.
From April 2021, New Japan Philharmonic Chief Viola Player. The instrument used is Montagnana, which was specially loaned from the Munetsugu Collection.
