Studied viola under Junji Suganuma at Tokyo University of the Arts Music High School, and under Yoshiko Kawamoto at Tokyo University of the Arts. After graduating, she studied under Andra Dertzins at the Stuttgart Graduate School of Music and Drama.
They won third place in the string instruments category at the 10th Tokyo Music Competition (the highest ranking for a viola). They also won third place at the Carl-Wendling Chamber Music Competition in Germany. In 2006, they won first place in the Artis-Preis at the Chamber Music Academy of the Vienna State Opera with Quartet Venere. In 2014, they were semi-finalists at the Paolo Borocciani International String Quartet Competition in Italy with Jana Quartet. They have received scholarships from the Matsuo Music Foundation and have performed in various concerts. They have participated in the Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy, Seiji Ozawa Music Academy, Mito Chamber Orchestra, Beppu Argerich Music Festival, Miyazaki International Music Festival, and more. Since 2013, they have been a member of the Saito Kinen Orchestra. They received a ROHM Music Foundation overseas scholarship from 2010 to 2011.
He is currently the Chief violist of New Japan Philharmonic, a member of the Triton Sunny Sea Orchestra, and a member of the ARK Philharmonic.
