Yutaka Sado, who was appointed as the 5th Music Director in April this year, will conduct the 9th Symphony with the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, continuing from last year.
This year, the solo soprano Yurie Takano, mezzo-soprano Kasumi Shimizu, tenor Hiroaki Fueda, baritone Kazu Hirano Since then, Sado has co-starred in operas, etc., and has a lineup of talented singers who have earned their trust. Annual New Year's Eve "Jill Bester Concert". This year, we will deliver a program that is suitable for the end of the year, full of music that evokes various emotions such as the importance of nature, the preciousness of life, joy, and sad feelings. This year's symphonic tale, "Yuki no Hitohira," is a three-part orchestral piece written by Akira Miyagawa after being inspired by Paul Gallico's writings about the life of a woman through the life of Yuki.

New Year's Concert 2024
New Japan Philharmonic 's "New Year Concert" celebrates the New Year with elegant Viennese tunes. We welcome Kazuki Wada as conductor and Nahoko Tazoe as navigator. Hiroki Shinno (NJP Chief oboe player), who joined the company in May 2022, will be in charge of the concerto, where the orchestra members perform solos as usual. We will celebrate the beginning of 2024 in a spectacular way with orchestral performances, fun talks and lots of content.
