NJP2024/2025 season Katsuhiko Shibata's noteworthy points!

In #658 (September 21st and 22nd), Yutaka Sado will listen to the music of "Vienna Rhein" itself. Haydn, whom he regards as important, and Bruckner, whose 200th anniversary was celebrated this year, are the same pairing that appeared last October, when they gave a splendid performance. Haydn's early symphony ``Morning'' is an exhilarating work written in a baroque style, and the solo performances of each instrument are also a highlight. The second half of the performance, Bruckner's Symphony No. 7, is an approachable work that incorporates melodic beauty and softness within the grandeur of the music. Here, you can enjoy the authentic expressions drawn by Sado, who is also the chef of a Vienna orchestra, and the rich, dynamic music that is top-notch.
