"Vienna Rhein" presented by Yutaka Sado. Until the 2024/25 season, Sado served as Music Director of the prestigious Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra, and from among the Bruckner symphonies he has performed with the orchestra, the 2026/2027 season will feature Bruckner's Fifth Symphony, renowned as his greatest masterpiece. Note the brass chorale at the beginning of the first movement and the deep resonance of the strings in the second movement. The third movement is filled with a pastoral atmosphere and the driving force of the dance, while the fourth movement features a magnificent double fugue and climax. Enjoy this masterpiece, blending faith and structural beauty throughout.
