NJP2024/2025 season Katsuhiko Shibata's noteworthy points!

In #24 (June 21st and 22nd), all eyes will be on the first appearance of Yader Bignamini, an Italian conductor who is making rapid progress. Currently Music Director of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, he has a track record of working with famous orchestras and leading opera houses around the world, and conducted La Traviata at the Opera House in Rome in 2018. This time, it's a lively program featuring three of Gershwin's most popular songs. In "Rhapsody in Blue," dual-wielding pianist Makoto Ozone fully demonstrates his skills in both jazz and classical music.
