NJP2024/2025 season Katsuhiko Shibata's noteworthy points!

#657 (June 8th and 11th) is a coveted performance by Charles Dutoit, a world-famous master who turns 88 this year. His music, which brought out an elegant and rich sound from New Japan Philharmonic in 2022 and 2023, is a must-hear. This time, we will start with Haydn's ``London'' Symphony, which is a fresh piece. Precise and sophisticated tact breathes new life into the "Vienna Rhine." The following Suite 2 of Stravinsky's ``Petrushka'' and Ravel's ``Daphnis et Chloe'' are the 18th of Dutoit's 18 pieces. With both songs full of color, you'll want to be immersed in the essence of the "magician of sound."
