Half-price tickets for the second half: If there are any remaining seats after the performance, they will be sold at half the regular price at the same-day ticket window during the intermission. Entry allowed after break
In March 2019, at the age of 18, Johan Dahlene won first place at the Carl Nielsen International Competition 2019. In November of the same year, he appeared at New Japan Philharmonic 's 621st subscription concert, playing Nielsen's Violin Concerto as a soloist, and received rave reviews for his high level of technique and musicality. Three years after his brilliant debut in Japan, he and Dahlene are finally performing together again.
