この度、本公演に出演予定の指揮者シャルル・デュトワ氏に、新型コロナウイルス陽性が確認されました。
11月15日時点のレントゲン撮影の結果では、肺に影が残った状態であり、医師より本年末までの航空機を使う国内外の移動の禁止を命じられました。
そのため、誠に残念ながら第638回定期演奏会は指揮者を変更し開催いたします。新たな指揮者は井上道義氏となります。(「弦楽のためのレクイエム」「ペトルーシュカ」は版を変更いたします。) なお、この変更に伴う払い戻しは行いませんので、ご了承のほどお願い申し上げます。
新日本フィルでは、来年６月に改めてデュトワ氏を迎え特別演奏会を開催する予定です。この度の出演キャンセルについて、デュトワ氏も大変残念に思われ、共演に向けて意欲を燃やし臨まれるとのメッセージをいただいております。
