Completed graduate school at Tokyo University of the Arts. Graduated from the Paris National Conservatoire with Premier Prix. He studied trumpet under Mineo Sugiki, Genzo Kitamura, Clément Garec and the late Pierre Thibaud.
Member of Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra and Sinfonietta Shizuoka. Part-time lecturer at Showa University of Music and Shobi Music College. New Japan Philharmonic trumpet player.
