The opening of "Sumida "TOBIRA" of classic" will be performed by two promising young talents. Born in 2005, Alma Deutscher is already a musical prodigy renowned at the age of 21 as one of the world's leading composers, conductors, pianists, and violinists. Having also begun collaborating with the Vienna Strauss-Capelle, she will showcase the tradition and flavor of Vienna's musical heritage. She will also be performing alongside Riisa Nakahara, who won second place at the 93rd Japan Music Competition in 2024. Having performed with New Japan Philharmonic, the 17-year-old is on a never-ending path to becoming a virtuoso. The two young performers will perform masterpieces by the Vienna-born genius Mozart. The second half of the concert will feature Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, which he premiered in Vienna under his own baton.
