Born in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture. After graduating from Ibaraki Prefectural Hitachi Daiichi High School, graduated from Showa University of Music at Chief class. She has studied under Rika Kasakura, Hitoshi Sekiguchi, Toyohiko Horikawa, and Yusuke Noda. Appeared in the 77th Yomiuri Rookie Concert. He has won numerous prizes in domestic competitions, including 3rd prize in the clarinet division of the 78th and 81st Music Competition of Japan (winning the Iwatani Prize), and 2nd prize in the clarinet division of the 30th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. After working as a clarinetist of the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra since 2007, he is currently Chief clarinetist of New Japan Philharmonic. Part-time lecturer at Showa University of Music.
