Started playing the horn at the age of 13. Graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae in 1990 and studied under Masahiro Tanaka at the same university. In 1996, he studied under Mr. B. Schneider at the Affinis Music Festival.
Currently, he is a lecturer at Bunkyo University's orchestra department, a lecturer at Muse Conservatory, and many other lecturers at junior high and high school brass bands.
