The Tokyo FM Boys' Choir was founded in April 1985 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the launch of FM Tokyo. It is a rare boys' choir in the world, consisting only of elementary school boys, and pursues the pure sound that only a boy soprano can produce. The mainstay of their activities is their sponsored performances, inviting leading conductors and performers as guests and working on ambitious programs.
On the other hand, the group has received many requests from opera houses and orchestras in Japan and abroad, and has had the valuable opportunity to perform with famous conductors and singers. In addition, the group has participated in numerous CD recordings at the request of various artists, and has also appeared in commercials, making the group a very diverse group. The group will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2025.
