Andrej Boreyko served as Musical and Artistic Director of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra until the 2023/24 season, completing a fruitful five-year term in that position. With the Warsaw Philharmonic he toured Europe, Japan, Korea and the USA, and performed at the Penderecki Festival, the Beethoven Easter Festival and the Chopin and His Europe Festival.
Highlights of the 24/25 season include guest appearances with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Altus Symphony Orchestra, Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Stuttgart Philharmonic and Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, among others.
Boreyko has appeared as a guest conductor with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Prague Symphony Orchestra, Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra, RTVE Radio Symphony Orchestra Madrid, RAI National Symphony Orchestra, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Sydney, Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas and Houston Symphonies, and has toured Europe with La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra, Russian State Academic Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonia Varsovia.
He has also served as Music Director of the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Bern Symphony Orchestra, the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre National de Belgium, and the Naples Philharmonic, as well as serving as principal conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano.
