profile

Graduated from the Department of Organ and the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts. Received the Ataka Prize, Acanthus Music Prize, and Doseikai Prize at the university. Studied in France as a recipient of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' overseas training program for emerging artists. Graduated from the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Organ Science at the Conservatoire de Paris, and also won a Prix in Harmony and Renaissance Counterpoint in the Department of Composition and Writing.

He won the Pierre de Mansicourt International Organ Competition and the Dudelange International Organ Competition. He has been invited to perform at international organ music festivals in Europe, mainly in France, and often collaborates with ensembles and orchestras. His works, which he was involved in as author, include "Organ Playing: Talk with a Pipe! Sing with a Pipe!" (Dowa Shoin, 2020) and the complete recording of César Franck's 200th anniversary of birth, "12 Works for the Large Organ" (ALM/Kojima Recording, Record Geijutsu Special Selection and Yomiuri Shimbun Special Selection, 2023), which have been well received from all quarters. He is currently the head organist and part-time lecturer at Meiji Gakuin Yokohama, a lecturer at Atelier Baroque, and an organist at Reinanzaka Church, the United Church of Christ in Japan.
