Born in Akita Prefecture in 1972. Joined TBS as an announcer in 1995, and left the company in 2022 to go freelance. Currently, in addition to narrating a number of popular programs, her podcast program "OVER THE SUN" with Jane Su is also gaining popularity.
Her books include "Quitting my job for now: A diary of independence from age 50" (Daiwa Shobo), "Reading classes" (Kanzen), and "The advice of a listening position" (Tokuma Shoten). The reading session at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan on July 20th will be the fourth performance of her own "yomibasho project."
