Alexander Gadjiev, piano

profile

Born in Gorizia (Italy). He performed with an orchestra for the first time at the age of 9 and gave his first recital at the age of 10. At the age of 17, he won the ``Premio Venezia'' competition (2013), a competition for young people who received the highest evaluations from Italian educational institutions. Since 2015, he has won almost every international competition he has participated in, including Hamamatsu in the same year, Monte Carlo in 2018, and Sydney in 2021. The 2nd place and Sonata Prize at the 2021 International Chopin Competition attracted a lot of attention. He has collaborated with conductors such as Luigi/RAI National Symphony Orchestra, Gergiev/Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, and other conductors such as Temirkanov, Vito, Michiyoshi Inoue, and Kazuki Yamada. In the future, he plans to perform with the Halle Orchestra, Milan Verdi Symphony Orchestra, and others. He has also participated in Verbier Festival and Aldeburgh Festival.
