After studying at Shobi Gakuen Junior College, completed the Tokyo Conservatoire Shobi Diploma Course. 6th place at the 2nd Adolphe Sax International Competition. 1st place in the 16th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition.
Appeared on NHK-FM "FM Recital" and "Best of Classic". He has a solo CD "Lessons of the Sky" and has recorded 7 CDs as a tenor saxophonist in the member "Masato Kumoi Saxophone Quartet".
As a saxophonist in the orchestra, he has received first calls from New Japan Philharmonic, Saito Kinen Orchestra, Joe Hisaishi Symphony Orchestra, and Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra. Participated in many tours.
In addition, while sticking to basic playing techniques, the lessons that elaborately build how to make musical performances bloom are also popular, and many lessons for professional players and schools participating in national competitions.
The "Fellow Saxophone Quartet", which he presides over, receives the "Baroquesaal Award" from the Aoyama Foundation.
