Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1978. He started performing while attending Senzoku Gakuen Junior College Jazz Course. After graduating in 1999, he worked as a regular drummer for Yosuke Yamashita, Fumio Karashima, Takaaki Miyanoue, and Kimiko Ito. In 2002, the first leader work "Lumination" was announced. In the same year, he moved his base of operations to New York.
Joined Makoto Ozone No Name Horses.
In New York, he played in many bands such as Eric Lewis, Marcus Printup, Lew Tabackin, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Don Friedman, Eric Person, Grady Tate.
In 2011, the album "Blues 4 Us" was released with the participation of Yosuke Yamashita, Atsushi Ikeda, and Kengo Nakamura.
2016 Moved the base of activities to Japan again.
Currently active in groups such as Makoto Ozone, Yosuke Yamashita, and Eric Miyagi Blue Noto Tokyo All Star Big Band.
