Graduated Chief Toho Gakuen University in 1995. In 1992, he won the Hideo Saito Award at the Chamber Music Division of the Tokyo International Music Competition. In 1994, he won the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition Special Prize. In 1997, he won the 3rd prize at the Munich International Music Competition. From 2002 to March 2021, he served as Chief player New Japan Philharmonic, and is currently Chief player of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. Active as a soloist and chamber musician, he has participated in numerous festivals such as the Kirishima International Music Festival and the Miyazaki International Music Festival. Member of Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra, Triton Sunny Sea Orchestra, Saito Kinen Orchestra, La Stravaganza Tokyo, etc. Part-time lecturer at Toho Gakuen University.
