A former NHK announcer, she currently works as a coordinator for NHK's "TV Symposium" and frequently hosts ceremonies and concerts. Her published works include "A Bouquet of Spoken Language," "Enjoying the Culture of Voice: A Recommendation for Reading Aloud" (Nichigai Associates), and co-authored works such as "Recommended Library Use Techniques for Dementia Prevention 2: Reading and Reading Aloud are Brain Training." She is a professor at Jumonji Gakuen Women's University and an instructor at the NHK Culture Center.
