Started playing the cello at the age of three. He won first place in all domestic competitions, including the 74th Music Competition of Japan, and won the 9th Rostropovich International Cello Competition for the first time as a Japanese. Toho Gakuen Music Department scholarship student, Toho Gakuen Chief Soloist Diploma Course graduated at the top of the class. Graduated from the Geneva Conservatoire in 2009 and the Kronberg Academy in 2013. Received the 6th Hideo Saito Memorial Fund Award, the 20th Idemitsu Music Award, and the 13th Hotel Okura Music Award.
Studied the cello under Sumiko Kurata and Frans Helmerson.
Many appearances in mass media, such as "The day I talked with Seiji Ozawa through music - Cellist Dai Miyata, 25 years old -" (art festival participation work), "Hodo Station", "Nikkei Special Invitation Seat - Kanjuro Kiritake". The Abyss of Bunraku and Tetsuko's Room attracted a lot of attention. A member of the Mito Chamber Orchestra.
The instruments used are the 1698 Stradivarius “Cholmondeley” (loaned by Ueno Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), the 1710 M.S. Goffriller (loaned from the Munetsugu Collection).
