Winner of the 1st Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition in 2016.
In 2000, she became the youngest Japanese person to win the top prize in the junior division of the 8th Wieniawski International Violin Competition. In 2011, she won first prize in the violin division of the Cologne International Music Competition, and also received the David Garrett Prize for her outstanding musical interpretation. She was a recipient of the Agency for Cultural Affairs Overseas Training Program in 2002.
In the fall of 2015, she graduated from the Cologne University of Music with unanimous Chief and top honors, obtaining the German National Performer's Qualification.
Currently based in Japan and Europe, they are actively pursuing their careers.
The instrument used is an Antonio Stradivari 1699 "Walner," specially loaned to the NPO Yellow Angel by the Munetsugu Collection.
