Born in Osaka Prefecture. Studied under Kaoru Jinushi. Joined the Kaoru Jinushi Ballet Company in 2003. Won first place in the senior division of the All Japan Ballet Competition in 2007, silver medal in the senior division of the Moscow International Ballet Competition in 2009, silver medal in the senior division of the Jackson International Ballet Competition in 2010, and joined the New National Theatre Ballet as a soloist in 2012. Made her debut as a principal dancer in "Don Quixote" in 2013. Has danced principal roles in "Swan Lake," "The Nutcracker," "The Sleeping Beauty," "The Prince of the Pagodas," "Aladdin," "Cinderella," and "Petrushka," among others. Promoted to first soloist in 2014 and principal dancer from 2016. Received the Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival New Artist Award in 2010, the Osaka Cultural Festival Encouragement Award in 2012, the Dance Critics Association New Artist Award in 2014, the Nakagawa Einosuke Award in 2016, and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award for Artistic Excellence in 2022.
