Born in Saitama Prefecture, she began ballet at the age of 7. After studying at the Tokyo Ballet School and the Lisbon National Conservatory, she performed with La Campagna Ballet Classico in Italy. In January 2016, she joined the Tokyo Ballet. She was promoted to First Artist in April 2016, Second Artist in April 2018, Soloist in April 2019, First Soloist in April 2020, and Principal in April 2022.
