He started playing the violin at the age of 4. He switched to the viola when he entered the Tokyo University of the Arts High School of Music, and graduated from the same university.
He has participated in the Saito Kinen Festival Matsumoto, Saito Kinen Chamber Music Study Group for Young People, Seiji Ozawa Music Academy, Tokyo University of the Arts Chamber Music Regular, Project Q, PMF Orchestra Academy, Miyazaki International Music Festival, Beppu Argerich Music Festival, Mito Chamber Orchestra, and others.
She studied viola under Yoshiko Kawamoto and Kaoru Ohno.
He was a member of the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra from 2009 to 2011.
