Alexandra Konunova won first prize at the 2012 Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Hannover, third prize at the 15th International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2015, and the prestigious Borletti-Buitoni Fellowship Award in 2016. She has received international acclaim for her warm tone, fluid virtuosity, impressive range of color, and flawless technique.
He has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, NDR Philharmonic Orchestra Hannover, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Mariinsky Orchestra, and Russian National Orchestra.
He has released "Prokofiev: Violin Sonata" and "Vivaldi: The Four Seasons" on the Aparte label, both of which received rave reviews from magazines such as Gramphone.
He currently uses the "Ida Levin" made by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini in 1785.
