Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Keio University. During his time at university, he studied at the Senzoku Gakuen College of Music's Conducting Institute and completed the Master's course.
He has studied conducting under Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Yoshitomo Kawachi, Nobutaka Masui, and Yuji Yuasa, piano under Yukie Baba, and clarinet under Seiki Shinohe.
He participated in the Affinis Summer Music Festival as a conducting researcher from 2006 to 2008, and passed the audition for the conducting researcher position newly established by the Nippon Steel Foundation in 2010, and continued his training at the Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo. He won third place in the 11th Antonio Pedrotti International Conducting Competition.
He has conducted the Kanazawa Orchestra Ensemble, Osaka Symphony Orchestra, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, Okayama Philharmonic Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Gunma Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, Chiba Symphony Orchestra, Chubu Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, and Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. In 2012, he was invited to conduct three performances with the Bolzano-Trento Haydn Orchestra in Italy, which was well received.
In addition, in 2019, to mark the abdication of His Majesty the Emperor and the enthronement of the new Emperor, he conducted a recording of the piece "Towards a New Era" (composed by Naoki Sato) produced by Nippon Television (performed by the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra). This has become a hot topic.
He currently teaches part-time at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.
