First ever "Homecoming Day" to be held at the 656th Regular Concert conducted by Kazuhiro Koizumi!

The 656th regular concert will be conducted by Kazuhiro Koizumi became the New Japan Philharmonic first Music Director at the age of 25 in January 1975 and led the orchestra for approximately five years until December 1979, laying the foundation for the orchestra.

This day will be called "Homecoming Day," and many alumni who have supported the history of New Japan Philharmonic which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2022, will be in attendance. Please enjoy interacting with the alumni before the performance and during intermissions.
