As part of New Japan Philharmonic 's 2022/2023 season "Sumida "TOBIRA" of classic" series, they will perform all four of Brahms' symphonies at four concerts between September 2022 and January 2023.
In connection with that, an online lecture was held on August 31 by music writer Takayuki Komuro, New Japan Philharmonic concert master Tatsuro Nishie, and New Japan Philharmonic contrabass player Yuko Muramatsu.
