New Japan Philharmonic (located in Sumida-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Yoshihiko Miyauchi; hereinafter referred to as New Japan Philharmonic) will launch the "Energizing People and Towns with the Power of Music2026" project on Furusato Choice's "Government Crowdfunding®" platform startingSeptember 1st, 2026(Tuesday).
Aiming to make music more accessible and enjoyable for those who don't usually have the opportunity to attend concerts, this project, which began in 2017 as part of Sumida Ward's "Sumida Dream Support Grant Program," is now in its tenth year and has grown into an annual event that enjoys the support of a wide range of people both inside and outside the ward. We are working to further enhance the content of the project in order to further enliven Sumida, the city of music.

③ Street Corner Concert
In order to share the joy of music with as many people as possible, our musicians actively go out to perform in the streets, mainly in Sumida Ward.
With the "Sumida Five Colors Art Festival" approaching this year, we are collaborating with the festival to plan events that will fill the streets of Sumida with not only music but also art. For details on future "Street Corner Concerts," please check the New Japan Philharmonic 's website and social media.
④ Street Corner Workshop
We will hold workshops for local nurseries, after-school programs, children's centers, and senior citizen facilities, where participants will not only listen to music but also "create music together."
⑤ Street Corner Broadcast
We will record small ensembles at facilities, businesses, and shops within Sumida Ward, and provide a guided tour of Sumida Ward's famous landmarks accompanied by music performed by members of New Japan Philharmonic.
⑥ We have made the program booklets from past "subscription concert" available online.
今後、過去の演奏会を聴いた方が記憶をたどる場として、また新日本フィルの歴史を知る場としてご活用いただけるよう、データベースがより充実するよう充足してまいります。
