Establishment of New Japan Philharmonic Academy

The Academy aims to nurture the next generation of musicians, not only by improving performance techniques but also by providing a venue for self-expression through music, thereby broadening the possibilities for many young people.

In the first year, we will welcome performers who have achieved outstanding results in competitions as our inaugural class and develop an on-the-job training (OJT) style program. By focusing on performing in an orchestra and gaining experience on actual stages, we will build a curriculum that goes beyond mere technical acquisition to cultivate the overall ability to perform on stage.

From the second term onwards, we will recruit people aged 15 to 29 through auditions, and will develop the academy as a place where motivated young people can seriously engage with music.
