NJP2024/2025 season Katsuhiko Shibata's noteworthy points!

■ #655 (April 19th and 20th) is Music Director Yutaka Sado 's warm German masterpiece. Beethoven's Symphony No. 2 is a full-bodied and ambitious work full of life. Sado's lively tact brings out a new appeal of the song. The second half, Mendelssohn's ``A Midsummer Night's Dream,'' is not only an orchestral piece such as the famous ``Wedding March,'' but I'm glad that it also includes songs that help you understand the overall flow.
Stars such as Eiji Wentz (fairy pack), Sara Kobayashi (soprano), and Michiko Hayashi (mezzo-soprano) beautifully color the fantasy-rich story.
