| Review process | ① Document screening We will review your application based on the information you provide. Notification of the results of the document screening: You will be notified by email on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Applicants who pass the document screening will receive an email with a notification of the first-round meeting time and an orchestra study. ② Practical examination [First round of judging] Thursday, September 3, 2026 *This will be conducted for applicants who pass the document screening. ■Concerto (with piano accompaniment; accompanist must be arranged by the participant) ●Selection of required piece ① (one of the following two pieces) F.A. Hoffmeister: Viola Concerto in D major, 1st movement with cadenza C. Stamitz: Viola Concerto in D major, Op. 1, 1st movement with cadenza ●Selection of required piece ② (one of the following two pieces) Bartók: Viola Concerto Sz.120 (Serly's completed version, 1949), 1st movement Walton: Viola Concerto, 1st Movement *The performance location will be specified on the day of the event. ■ Orchestra Studies [Second round of judging] Wednesday, September 9, 2026 *This will be conducted for those who pass the first round of screening. We will conduct an examination with the same content as the first round of screening. [Third Round of Auditions] You will participate in our concert as an extra. *We will pay you the performance fee according to our company's regulations. [Probation Audition] You will participate in our orchestra's concerts as a trial member. |
