Carlo Rizzi, who is in demand from opera houses around the world, became interested in opera while studying at the Milan Conservatoire.
In 1982, he made his debut as a conductor with Donizetti's "The Perplexed Tutor", and since then, Mozart, Wagner, Strauss, Britten, Martinu, Janacek, and many Italian works have been added, boasting a repertoire of over 100.
