New Japan Philharmonic (Sumida-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Miyauchi Yoshihiko, hereinafter referred to as New Japan Philharmonic), will launch the "Invigorating People and Cities with the Power of Music in2024" project on Furusato Choice's "Government Crowdfunding®" from Monday, September 2,2024.
This project, which began in 2017 as part of Sumida Ward's Sumida Dream Support Grant Project with the aim of "making music accessible to people who do not normally have the opportunity to attend concerts," is now in its eighth year and has grown into an annual project that is supported by a wide range of customers both within and outside the ward.
This year, we have added invitations to concerts exclusive to the residents of Sumida Ward and limited distribution to our business plans, and are working to further enhance the content in order to liven up Sumida, the city of music.

1. Concert ticket gifts for people who do not usually have the opportunity to go to concerts
(Target: junior and senior high school students in the Tokyo metropolitan area and nationwide, users of medical, welfare, nursing care facilities, etc.)
2. Creation of an archive (preservation materials) of past performance recordings, including those of Seiji Ozawa
In order to preserve the performance record that should be left for the future, we will create CDs, materials, etc.
3.Holding street corner performances such as "Street Corner Concerts," "Street Corner Workshops," and "Street Corner Broadcasts"
Musicians go to street corners around Sumida Ward to perform.
4. Invitation to a concert exclusively for Sumida Ward residents
We will hold a concert exclusively for Sumida ward residents at the main hall of Sumida Triphony Hall Hall (Kinshicho), and invite you to attend. We also plan to record the "Seiji Ozawa Memorial Concert" to be held on Saturday, August 31, and stream a portion of it at a later date exclusively for Sumida ward residents.
