Masahide Denda Appointed Guest Concertmaster

As of July 1, 2021, Masahide Denda has been appointed as Guest Concertmaster of the New Japan Philharmonic.
Together with new friends, we will continue to deliver more artistic music.

Profile of Masahide Denda

Born in Nagano City. Started playing the violin at the age of 3 with the help of his father, a Suzuki Method instructor. ) and the Altenberg Trio Wien.
1st place at the All Japan Student Music Competition, 1st place at the Japan Classical Music Competition, 1st place at the JILA Music Competition, 2nd place at the Music Competition of Japan, and many other prizes.
After returning to Japan, he has served as concertmaster of the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra since 2006, assistant concertmaster of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra since 2014, and concertmaster of the same orchestra since 2018.
Released a violin collection CD "EMOTION". In addition, CDs featuring Tchaikovsky Concerto, Scheherazade, Life of a Hero, etc. will be released.
He has served as a lecturer at Showa University of Music, a juror at numerous competitions such as the All Japan Student Music Competition, and a music festival lecturer.
At the "Masahide Denda Violin School", which he presides over, lessons are continued as a place to share the enjoyment of music for both adults and beginners.
