Application Requirements

Qualification requirements	・Those who have the performance ability appropriate for an orchestra player. ・Age and nationality do not matter.
Application method	Please send the orchestra's prescribed resume to the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Resume (PDF) Resumes will only be used for auditions. Please note that resumes will not be returned. Those who wish to apply for both the Vorspieler and tutti player auditions will be considered to have also auditioned for the tutu player by going through the Vorspieler audition. Please indicate that you are applying for both positions on your resume.
About examination	① Document review We will review based on your resume. ★Results of document screening: Shipped on Friday, February 17, 2023 Applicants who pass the document screening will be sent a notification of the meeting time for the first screening and an orchestra study. ② Practical examination * Accompanists must accompany themselves [First screening] (Performed for those who passed the document screening.) March 13, 2023 (Monday) ● Selected theme song (one of the following) Mozart: Concerto No. 3 in G major, 1st movement (with cadenza) Mozart: 1st movement from Concerto No. 4 in D major (with cadenza) Mozart: Concerto No. 5 in A major "Turkish" 1st movement (with cadenza) The performance location will be specified on the day. No version is specified. Free-choice (1st movement from a concerto composed after 1806) ●Orchestra study [Second screening] (Performed for those who passed the first screening.) Thursday, April 13, 2023 Judging songs will be the same as the first judging [Third screening] (Performed for those who passed the second screening.) Participate in the orchestra's performance activities as an extra. * We will pay the performance fee according to our orchestra regulations.

Result notification	・Results of document screening: Results will be sent by mail on February 17, 2023 (Friday). ・Results of the first screening: We will contact you on Monday, March 13, 2023. ・Second screening results: Notification will be sent on April 13, 2023 (Thursday). ・Results of the 3rd screening: Notification will be sent immediately after the screening is completed.
treatment	According to our company regulations. Full social insurance (health insurance, welfare pension, employment insurance, workmen's accident insurance), transportation expenses paid.
Other	・The time for the 1st and 2nd screening will be determined by the number of applicants. ・Please bring your own piano accompanist for the 1st and 2nd rounds. ・The second screening consists of a preliminary screening and a main screening. ・The first screening and the second preliminary screening will be a curtain screening. ・Please pay your own transportation and travel expenses (accommodation expenses). ・Please be sure to specify your mobile phone number and address so that we can contact you smoothly after applying. ・Parking is not available on the day of the audition.
